Camp NaNoWriMo Update #2

If you have been following my blog for at least a week, you will know that I am doing Camp NaNoWriMo this month. So for the month of April I will be posting updates with my word count and all each Saturday.  Last Saturday I posted my first update check it out here. 

Stats:

Total word count: 8,759/50,000

Word count for week: 6,696

Words behind: 4,574

Accomplishment:

I got past the word count that I stopped at the last time I tried Camp NaNo, which was one of the things I wanted to do even if I didn’t finish.

Comments for the week:

Overall: I feel like this week was kind of a disappointment. Saturday I was so excited and optimistic for the week then it went downhill fast. I got sick this week with a head cold and I’ve have some family stuff that I’ve had to deal with. It’s been a long week and I’m hoping next week is better.

Saturday : Most productive day yet, I wrote almost double what I needed to.

Sunday: Since Saturday had been so productive I only had to write 440 words to stay on track with my word count. Which ended up being a good thing because I spent the day at the zoo and did not have much time to write.

Monday: Well, I hate to say it but I got behind on April 4th, I just didn’t hit my word count. I wasn’t feeling well and I was visiting family most of the day.

Tuesday: I did not write hardly a thing on Tuesday. Which put me even more behind. I was sick and gone most of the day

Wednesday: I wrote and wrote and wrote some more. I finally hit the word count for Monday, and got almost caught up.

Thursday: I wrote less than 500 words, and I keep getting behind.

Friday:  I came home from work early because I was sick then slept for three hours. I got no writing done. Like I wrote less than 100 words.

Anyone else behind? At this point I would honestly be happy to just hit 15K this month.
